Research title: Types of methods for making construction machinery intelligent
File format: One editable Word file in 15 pages and one PDF file in 15 pages
There are different methods for making construction machinery intelligent, which are mentioned in this research as follows:
• G. P. S. (GPS) system: Using this system, the longitude and latitude of the location, speed and direction of the desired machine can be found and by sending this information to the center, the necessary management can be applied remotely to the equipment and machinery.
• Computerized Road Construction Machinery Tracking System (CAES): It is the same satellite system for tracking machinery, which is called (GPS 2). This system is used for leveling roads, highways, railway lines, etc. Using this method, significant time and cost savings are achieved.
• G. P. S. GPS in compaction machinery: In this method, by combining the GPS system and a hot asphalt hardness measurement system, a hardness map can be provided with the number of roller passes for the entire pavement surface to obtain a surface with uniform compaction.
• Sakai Smart Compaction Roller: In this method, the operator can use the GPS system to view the number of passes, the color-coded surface temperature of the roller, and the hardness produced by the roller.
• RFID technology: Radio frequency identification technology is a method that can be used to track equipment and machinery. It can also be used to manage inventory and resources. The purpose of this method is to obtain specific information about machinery and equipment that have the ability to move.
